Since TRAI's TCCCPR 2018 regulation, every business that sends commercial SMS in India must register on a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platform run by a telecom operator. That means registering the business as a Principal Entity (PE), getting each sender ID (header) approved, and registering every message as a content template. Messages that do not match an approved header and template are blocked by the operator. Our DLT registration guide explains the full framework.
Many businesses find the operator portals confusing: documents get rejected, templates bounce back for small formatting errors, and headers are refused for not matching the brand name. DLT Priority Support is for exactly these teams. SMSGatewayHub's DLT desk files the paperwork on your behalf, follows up on approvals and makes sure your templates are mapped correctly before you start sending transactional SMS, promotional SMS or OTP SMS.
When you register on DLT you also need to bind SMSGatewayHub as your telemarketer. Our telemarketer ID is 1302157243747322354; add it in your PE–TM chain so your approved templates can be delivered through our routes. See our blog on PE–TM chain creation and binding on DLT for the background.
